Medium Motorised Drums

From 0.55 kW to 4.0 kW, motorised drums are available up to 320 mm diameter from the Dutch company Euronorm, fully manufactured in Holland and distributed throughout the world. The Euronorm Motorised Drums are built from the highest materials, with energy efficient class H insulated motors fitted as standard, gear are precision helical box with all gears manufactured to DIN class 6. Motorised Drums are built to give IP 67 protection.
We can advise on all aspects of material handling and select the right manufacturer.

Service and Repair of Motorised Drums

Fully equipped workshops in Leicester allow us to offer full repair and test facilities for the majority of motorised conveyor drum motors, we will be pleased to receive your units at our works and will give a full condition report and repair cost estimate prior to commencement of any work. We also hold a large number of spares for Thorite drummotors which can be supplied ex-stock.

Large Motorised Drum Motors

For the high power drum motor application or for the replacement of the large and obsolete Thorite superdrive drummotor we can offer a German manufactured high power drum motor avalible with a motor power upto 45kw and a drum diameter of 600mm. Again superbly engineered to give long term reliability for those inaccessible conveyir drives where only a drummotor will do. These units are available with backstop, brake, lagging, mountingbrackets etcetera. In the event that one of these drums is required to replace an existing unit full dimensional interchangeability will be ensured.
